Once your dog arrives with me it will be assessed and will very quickly settle into their new environment. All dogs that come for residential training will be living in my purpose built kennels which have recently been built. Dogs will come and stay with me at Heronvalley for an agreed length of time.
Basic training includes:-
- Sit and stay
- Stop to whistle
- Recall
- Walk to heel on and off lead
- Steady to thrown dummies
- Introduction to cold and warm game
Advance training includes:-
- All of the above
- Left and rights
- Blinds
- Distance retrieves
- Experience in shooting field
I will update you on your dog’s progress on a regular basis and this will be carried out by telephone, text, email and WhatsApp (videos).
